Never underestimate the importance of a good quality power supply for your effects. That’s why we recommend the generator for every DASHBOARD! The generator mounts with a specifically designed bracket underneath each dashboard!

So what separates the GENERATOR from every other 9V supply? The GENERATOR delivers

Why do I need all that power? There is a misunderstanding of power supplies and the way they affect the tone of your pedals. Most guitarists think that if all their pedals use 1000 Milliamps (1 amp) of current, then a 1000 milliamp power supply will do the trick. WRONG
The general rule is that as soon as you exceed half of your power rating (in this case 500 milliamps) the supply will start to struggle to supply the Volts. The more you ask of it, the more it will struggle. A 9V 1000 milliamp power supply drawing 1000 amps can be putting out as little as 6V D.C. and in some cases even less. Do you like the sound of your effects with a flat battery? Well that's exactly what's going on here.
All that power from the GENERATOR is important because it gives your effects the headroom that they need to operate properly. The electronics in the pedal can then function as they were designed to. The GENERATOR on your pedal board means that no matter how incredible your pedal board is, you'll never need to ask the question, 'do I have enough power?'
And of course it will supply all of your Line6 pedals as well.
Using a combination of TheGigRig GENERATOR and TheGigRig Virtual Batteries will give you the ability to power pedals the would not have been able to be powered before from a single supply. Most pedals will operate absolutley fine using the supplied 'Daisy Chains' with the GENERATOR, but if you have a pedal that needs its own isolated supply such as vintage style FUZZ's or LINE 6 Tone Core series pedals for example, simply plug a Virtual Battery on to the daisy chain, then plug the output of the Virtual Battery into the pedal, and your good to go!
Virtual Batteries
Do you rely on batteries to power any of your pedals? Due to the design of some pedals they need an isolated source to operate properly. If you try to power them from a non isolated source such as a daisy chain they can be noisy, and in some cases can even damage your precious pedals. How would you like all the benefits of batteries with none of the drawbacks ?

The VB-DC incudes a 2.1mm dc plug for use with pedals that have a Boss style 2.1 mm centre negative dc input
The VB-BC features a battery clip that simply clips on to the battery terminal of the pedal you want to use. Then connect the VB-BC to your 9V supply, and you're done!
Humdinger

The Humdinger was designed to eliminate earth loops in audio equipment by isolating the second output with a high quality audio transformer.

Earth loops are a common complaint. As soon as the ground on your gear has more than one main route to earth, you have the potential for an earth loop. The best and safest way to get rid of an earth loop is to isolate the ground that is causing the hum.
Using the HumDinger to get rid of earth loops is easy. If you use 2 amps all you need to do is stick the HumDinger at the end of your effects chain. Your main (buffered) output goes to one amp, and the isolated output goes to the other. Your earth is consistent through the main output but isolated through the isolated output.
Using a mains powered effects pedal, simply place the HumDinger in the chain after the mains powered effect. The Mains powered effect is your main ground and the ground from the amp is isolated.

This amazing little box is the answer to all your pedal board power needs. The size of a couple of matchboxes (and about the same weight) the DISTRIBUTOR allows you to customize your pedal board power supply so that every d.c. cable on your board is the perfect length. Just run the supplied d.c. cables to your pedals, cut to length and insert the cables, push the buttons down and your done! Now when you plug in your 9V supply the power is run directly to your pedals. Using our Virtual Batteries you can isolate any pedal that needs isolation, even run some tricky to power pedals such as the 12V range from T-Rex. Of course Line 6 pedals are no problem.

ElectroMan 9-24V DC Adapter
If you love your memory Man but the wall wart gets you down, your prayers have been answered. Our wonderful ElectroMan 9-24V DC adapter simply plugs on to the end of a distributor cable being powered by the Generator. If you use a Diamond Memory lane all you need is this and the 2.5 to 2.1mm end plug adapter and you’re good to go!
Doubler 9-18V DC Adapter
The ultimate 9-18V DC adapter is only a click away! Power your Electric Mistress or old Ibanez AD80 directly from the Generator. Run your Fulltone Full Drive II at 18V for more headroom, any pedal that takes 18V DC and the Doubler is for you.
El Paso 9-15V DC Adapter
15V DC pedals have always been a pain to power, but now thanks to the El Paso, it’s as easy as sticking this on the end of distributor and plugging this straight into your pedal. The Hiwatt Custom Tape echo is a perfect example. You no longer need a separate (or appropriately named) wall wart, just use the El Paso as part of TheGigRig Modular Power Supply System. Problem solved.
SupaNova 9-12V DC Adapter
If you own a T.C. Electronics Nova Delay or any of the Nova series then this adapter is all you need. Want to run your AnalogMan chorus at 12V? Then just pop this adapter on the end of Distributor powered by your Generator and the pedal will be receiving an isolated incredibly quiet 12V DC.
EvenFlo DC Adapter
Designed especially for the new range of Eventide pedals the EvenFlo allows you to power your new Time Factor, Mod Factor or Pitch Factor directly from the Generator. If you have all three pedals you can still power them all from a single Generator.
Line 6 Adapter
If you use a DL4 or any other LINE6 modelling pedal in this range the LINE 6 Adapter will allow you to run it from your Generator. All you need to do is put this adapter on the end of one of your Distributor cables and plug it in to your Line 6 modelling pedal or Digitech RP100 series pedal and your good to go.
2.1mm to Mini Jack Adapter
If you use a pedal that requires a Mini Jack d.c. inout then this is the answer. Just pop it on the end of one of the DItributor cables if you’re usinga TS-808, or on the end of one of our adapters if you need it for something a bit special. If you are using an old 18V Electirc Mistress for example, just put it on the end of one of our Doubler 9-18V adapters and plug straigh into the Mistress.
